He orders Zosia (Jasmine Jobson) and Kiko (Antonio Gonzalez Guerrero) to dump Archie’s vehicle. Paul (Emmett J Scanlan) questions why Conrad killed his long-time friend, Archie. Harry says their job isn’t to wonder why but to get plastic. Accepting his answer, Paul goes to get plastic. Kevin Harrigan (Paddy Considine) explains what led up to the shooting. In a flashback, Conrad proposes a fentanyl expansion plan. Archie suggests they start by discussing it. Upset, Conrad leaves the room. Jan complains about the timing because Gina has her Math GCSE this morning. Fisk wishes her good luck. She calls him a foul name. Harry assures him she didn’t mean it. Fisk orders him handcuffed and taken to jail.
Kevin is driving down the road when Richie Stevenson (Geoff Bell) and his men surround his vehicle in their vehicles. Aiming a concealed gun at Kevin, Richie demands to know where Tommy Stevenson (Felix Edwards) is. Retrieving a gun and aiming it at Richie, Kevin says he and Eddie Harrigan (Anson Boon) have no idea where Tommy is. Richie insists Eddie say that to his face. Kevin tells him that O’Hara Delaney (Lisa Dwan) is working on Harry’s release. Richie threatens to come for Eddie in one hour and orders his men to drive away. Kevin calls Bella Harrigan (Lara Pulver) and tells her to take Eddie to the Cotswolds. At the police station, Fisk interrogates Harry about Archie, whom they have been unable to reach. Speaking in a foreign language, Kiko suggests they kill him. Zosia agrees. He tells Eddie that they are discussing the weather. Outside the police station, Delaney tells Harry that the raid on his house could be a coincidence. He disagrees when Kevin calls to tell him about Richie’s threat. En route to Cotswolds, Delaney suggests Fisk was expecting Archie, a police informant, to call after Conrad’s meeting and when he didn’t, he detained Harry. Laughing, Harry recalls putting Archie in a coffin with a woman at Pete’s Parlor. He receives a call from Jan reminding him of their impending therapy session. He promises to call her later and ends the call. At the police station, Fisk and Mukasa discuss the tip they received this morning. He believes it was someone inside the crime syndicate and they will use Harry to locate Archie. Elsewhere, Brendan Harrigan (Daniel Betts) informs Seraphina Harrigan (Mandeep Dhillon) of his plan to get back in Conrad’s favor. She insists he isn’t cut out for this life, pays their tab, and leaves.
Bella tells her estranged father, Lord Pennock (Steven Pacey) that he can earn a lot of money by introducing her associate to his government contacts. He accepts her proposal. En route to Cotswolds, Zosia warns that they are being pursued. During a phone call, Davy Long Arm (Sam Melvin) tells Richie that they are in pursuit of Eddie. Richie demands he deliver Eddie to him alive. Davy Long Arm orders the motorbike driver, Pete, to slow down. Davy Short Arm (Dean Ashton) veers in front of him. Zosia brings the vehicle to a halt, backs up to their vehicle, and suggests they go back in the other direction. Refusing, Davy Long Arm says Eddie is coming with them. She steps on the pedal. Pete flips his motorbike to avoid being hit. Davy Short Arm and Pete pursue them. Zosia and Kiko come under fire. Utilizing a handgun, Pete busts out the rear window. Eddie grabs his gun. He says they must respond to Richie’s attack and it will lead to war. Outside, Conrad tells Harry that Archie was involved in the Stevenson’s fentanyl trade. Harry says Fisk detained and questioned him about Archie. Irate, Conrad regrets not cutting Archie’s tongue out. He asks Harry to get him proof of Archie being a police informant. A short time later, Harry tells Eddie the CCTV at the pub showed him and Tommy together, with two other guys. Eddie admits to having drinks with Tommy, Alfie King (Jake Dove), and Jack Whiley. He claims Hughie (Ethan Moorhouse) pulled a knife on him and he stabbed him. He says Tommy fled the pub. Harry says Conrad wants him beaten but he will delay it for now. He encounters Kevin as he is on his way to speak with Richie. Kevin notifies Bella that Eddie made it safely. A short time later, Antoine Arloud (Gregoire Colin) voices concern about Bella’s strained relationship with Lord Pennock. She assures him it won’t be a problem. He says his clients are asking to speak with him. She accepts his offer but is interested in a different currency. Elsewhere, Conrad asks Kevin if he told anyone about the shooting. Kevin says no. Harry tells him Frisk dragged him down to the police station. Richie reminds him they had a deal and refuses to step back until he has Eddie. Harry vows to find Tommy. Richie tells him a story about Gina and leaves the ending to Harry. He threatens to harm her if he doesn’t bring Tommy home by tonight. Harry says it will be an unhappy ending. Upon leaving, Harry receives an urgent text from Bella requesting they meet. A short time later, he arrives home to find Jan having a drink. She says he must meet with the care home director tomorrow morning. He agrees and walks outside. She follows and asks if he would have left if she hadn’t gotten pregnant. He says no. She informs him of her impending consultation with an attorney. He tells her about Tommy’s disappearance and assures her they aren’t in danger. She doesn’t believe him.
Harry tells Bella that Richie’s men opened fire on Zosia and Kiko’s vehicle because Eddie was in it. She stresses the need to schedule a meeting with Antoine. He suggests it isn’t the right time, with everything going on with Richie. He urges her to book a room there until things settle down. She agrees but only if he will stay with her. Ignoring her comment, warns her against getting involved with Antoine. She says he is right. He thanks her and leaves. She refuses to let him tell her what to do. At Cardinals, Harry warns Jack and Alfie that they are in trouble but he may be able to help. They claim Eddie was high on coke when he stabbed Hughie and Tommy fled the pub alone. Alfie says Eddie knew the pub owner. He asks them to notify him if Tommy shows up and gives them some cash for cheesecake. Elsewhere, Eddie tells Maeve that he is a screw-up. She embraces him, boasts of raising him right, and asks what it felt like to stab him. He says it felt great. She gives him a bag of coke. A short time later, Maeve tells Conrad that Eddie is a true Harrigan and will be a great man. He says no matter what, he is the judge.
Zosia, Kiko, and Harry arrive outside the pub. Kiko gives Harry a handgun and brass knuckles. Harry forces Jay and a bouncer inside at gunpoint and restrains them to the stair railing. They ascend the stairs to the bar. Harry grabs Valjon (Peter Ferdinando) from behind and demands to know where Tommy is. A man punches him. Harry grabs and punches him. Valjon swings a hammer at him. Grabbing the hammer, Harry brings it down on his hand and punches him in the chest. Kiko fires a shot into the air and orders everyone to get down. The patrons race toward the exit. Harry saturates Valijon with alcohol, drags him into another room, and where Tommy is. Valijon escorts him to a room where a case sits on the floor. Harry opens the lid, closes it, and asks if he did it by himself. Valijon claims to have done it in three hours and his father was a butcher. Harry tells Kiko to look inside the case. Kiko pulls back the lid and sees a dismembered body wrapped in plastic. He says something in a foreign language. Harry suggests he was referring to Tommy’s penis.
Mobland Review
Richie threatened war on the Harrigans if they refused to hand Eddie over to him. Kevin sent Eddie to stay with Conrad. Harry confronted Eddie about the pub CCTV showing him with Tommy on the night he disappeared. Eddie admitted to being out with Tommy, Jack, and Alfie. Trying to keep the peace between the Harrigans and the Stevensons, Harry promised to find Tommy. He returned to the pub and beat Valjon until he showed him Tommy’s dismembered body in a case.
Antoine propositioned Bella to convince Lord Pennock to introduce his clients to his government contacts. Harry warned her against getting mixed up in it but she is determined not to take orders from him.
The action scenes are amateurishly executed, filmed, and edited. The dialogue is at times corny and repetitive. It seems like a lot is happening but actually very little is happening. There is the plot and a subplot which hasn’t developed into anything significant. The episode deserves a 5.4 out of 10.
